Belvédère to Campomoro

Walk

Along the ancient traditional track that links the hilltop hamlet with the harbour, the footpath meanders under green oaks and among high scrub and passes through rocky outcrops. A dizzying view of the rocky coasts of Aliva and Omu.

Practical information

The walk begins in Campomoro village, where the road reaches the shore. Allow 15 minutes to reach the starting point for the circular footpaths from the village (the same for the return trip) and then 2 1/4 hours for the Canuseddu circular footpath, which is about 5 km in length. Along the nature trail that leads up to Campomoro tower, make a few stops with ‘Antò u torregianu’, who will tell you about the history of the site.

Spring is one of the best seasons to discover the site: the temperature is pleasant and the maquis is in bloom…
